It is absolutely unthinkable that we remain silent against this heinous attack.

We phoned our brother Aydın Kamalak, who was injured as a result of the cowardly attack by the sympathizers of the terrorist organization PKK and its supporters upon his expression that he is a “Turk” in Brussels, Belgium. We conveyed our get-well-soon wishes to him and underlined that we would continue to stand by the European Turkish Community forever, as always we did.

It is not acceptable for a person and our citizens to be assaulted in a brutal and outdated manner because of their “ethnic” origins in the center of Europe.

It is absolutely unthinkable that we remain silent against this heinous attack.

We hereby declare once again that we will closely follow the judicial and legal process to be carried out against the terrorist supporters who carried out this attack.

As representing Türkiye and the AK Party Government, we assert that we will continue our struggle with all our mechanisms to enforce international, sharp, and clear sanctions against racist, ethnic discriminatory, Islamophobic, diseased thoughts and filthy structures that feed on filthy agendas and ideologies, which are the biggest obstacles to societies living together in peace.
