We can clearly see the weight of Turkiye’s burden when we observe the Middle East and the Muslim world.

The 8th Ordinary Congress of the AK Party was held in Nevşehir’s city centre with great enthusiasm and excitement, drawing many AK party members to its attendance.
Speaking at the event, held at the Cappadocia Culture and Arts Centre, AK Party Vice Chairman and Head of Foreign Affairs Zafer Sırakaya stated:
“AK Party is not merely a movement of hope, future, and vision. It is also a community rooted in moral values and camaraderie.”
Sırakaya highlighted that AK Party is a movement based on public support in its fight against the enemies of democracy. He noted that AK Party has overcome all challenges with the support of the Turkish public.
Referring to the resilience of the People’s Alliance, Sırakaya continued:
“Serving within the People’s Alliance is an honour, but we must remember that this movement was built not by those merely assigned to tasks but by those who are wholeheartedly devoted and those who volunteer. That’s why we will always strive to win hearts. As of October 12th, we began the process of our congress, which has renewed our bonds of affection and strengthened our resolve to advance towards our goals of 2053 and 2071. We move forward with determination and faith, starting anew with a firm ‘Bismillah.’ AK Party is not merely a movement of hope and vision it is a party rooted in moral integrity and united by a shared cause.”
Sırakaya also addressed the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, emphasising Israel’s ambition to turn the region into a ring of fire with its vision of a “Promised Land”.
He highlighted Turkiye’s critical role as the world’s leading provider of aid to Gaza.
Underlining the commitment to stay true to their path under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Sırakaya concluded:
“When we look at the Middle East and the Muslim world, the weight of Turkiye’s responsibility becomes very clear. The genocide in Gaza reminds us of the heavy burden placed on each of our shoulders. They aim to annex the West Bank, and while a temporary ceasefire has been achieved in Lebanon, its duration remains uncertain. The Middle East has been engulfed in a ring of fire by Israel’s illusion of the ‘Promised Land,’ and their next target is Anatolia. Turkiye is the only nation in the world making its presence felt globally regarding diplomacy, law, and humanitarian aid for the state of Palestine. To those who question why Turkiye, despite having fewer resources than other states, provides 25% of the aid to Gaza, I say this from Nevşehir: Giving is not about wealth it is about faith.”
