Members of AK Parti’s Central Executive Committee (MYK) responded to the calls for boycott by sharing posts on their social media using the hashtag #MilliDestekVakti (“#Time for National Support”).

AK Parti Vice Chairman and Chairman of Foreign Affairs, Zafer Sırakaya, stated:

“The call and mentality to boycott our nations products is an attempt to harm our national production. With a spirit of national unity and solidarity, we wholeheartedly thank our noble nation, rather than joining in the boycott they have supported our tradespeople and producers.”

Zafer Sırakaya shared the following message on his social media channels:

“👉To all the plots, conspiracies, threats, or attempts to cause uprising targeting Türkiye,

👉To the destructive plans and deliberate statements that aim to harm the unity, peace, and future of our noble nation, whom we are proud to represent,

👉To those who oppose the steps we take to form peace with the lands which we are bound by thousands of years of heritage,

👉To the oppressors who massacre the innocent and the helpless under the facade of genocide,

You remain silent!

Yet you dare to target our national and domestic capital, aiming to harm our economy?

CHP, feels no shame in complaining about Türkiye to Europe and the world at every opportunity to scare off foreign investors, is doing nothing more than inflicting
