AK Party Vice Chairman and Chairman of Foreign Affairs, Zafer Sırakaya, met with members of the Turkish community living in Europe during an iftar programme organised by the Strasbourg Regional Chairman of the Union of International Democrats (UID), as part of his visit to France.

Sırakaya expressed his great pleasure at coming together during the holy month of Ramadan with the Turkish community living in Europe. In his speech Mr Sırakaya highlighted the significance of events organised in the month of Ramadan abroad by NGOs that represent Türkiye and the Turkish people, emphasising that such initiatives play a crucial role in promoting the spirit of Ramadan and strengthening the solidarity among communities.

After the iftar programme, Sırakaya also visited the annual Ramadan Fair in France, organised by the Turkish-Islamic Union for Religious Affairs (DİTİB), where he met with Turkish citizens and other members of the Muslim community living in France.
