A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the AK Parti and Ethiopia’s ruling party, the Prosperity Party.

AK Party Vice Chairman Zafer Sırakaya announced that a Memorandum of Understanding had been signed between the AK Parti and Ethiopia’s ruling Prosperity Party to strengthen bilateral relations.
In a statement shared on his social media account, Sırakaya emphasised that they continue to weave a network of compassion across the world, from Europe to Asia and from Africa to the Americas, under the vision that “a fairer world is possible.”

In his post, Sırakaya also included images related to the Memorandum of Understanding and shared the following statement:
“Following the historic agreement, brokered under the leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, which brought an end to tensions between Ethiopia and Somalia, AK Parti has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the ruling Prosperity Party in Ethiopia to strengthen inter-party and bilateral relations.
I hope that this agreement, jointly signed with the Prosperity Party Vice President Adem Farah, will bring prosperity and improve the relationship between our two nations.”
